A life not lived well is a life wasted.
Below you will find a helpful perspective on how merely surviving undermines your ability to live life well.
The most primary human instinct is survival. At the end of the day if we can last and just make it from one moment to the next without loss of life, then we count that success. In many ways there’s only a sense of urgency when our survival is threatened. In the big picture of life, we need to do all that we can to survive. Surviving is like simply aiming to last through life. This is not motivating and worse it is exhausting. If all we are doing is surviving, burnout in more than one way is the inevitable result.
TDH pushes for something more, and that something is thriving. Thriving is not about lasting through life. Instead it is about living your life well. Living life well values the moments and connections of each day. This is where life coaching is imperative. Coaching empowers people to live life well. Live in ways that gives energy rather than draining energy. Live in ways that foster true joy. Live doing the things that make you come alive. Live in ways that will matter beyond your own life. Why does living your life well matter? A life not lived well, is a life wasted.
